At the moment these are just being printed out in chatterl or chatterl_nitrogen.

just a note to look out for io:format, these seem to suggest places where status messages should be sent.

- Milestone cleared.
As this is less important that sorting out the tests and implementing a data storage mechanism, we'll put this off until after those tasks.
