Animate the pagination process

It would be nice if we could improve the way the pagination is rendered when receiving an AJAX response.
Ideally we want to a loading image overlaying the items list. Once the successful response has been received we want to fade out the previous list and fade in the new one. After this we want to remove the loading overlay and re-render the pagination partials.
